Touro鈥檚 Long Island location may not seem like a prime destination for law students, but in fact, the school鈥檚 location is one of its great strengths. The people and atmosphere may be inviting, but there are complaints about the facilities. The elevators are 鈥渁 nightmare,鈥 and 鈥渉orrible acoustics鈥 and 鈥渙bstructed view seats鈥 make lectures halls less than pleasant places to be. Even the layout wins some scorn for being unnecessarily complex; 鈥済oing from the third floor in the library to third floor in the school, ten feet away, you must travel six flights of stairs.鈥 In addition, be prepared to work around a schedule influenced by the college鈥檚 Jewish affiliation. Though the school promotes non-secular activities, 鈥渢he school and library are closed at 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoons鈥 and most Saturdays, which for some 鈥渕akes it extremely hard to put in 100 percent.鈥 That said, the building is 鈥渞elatively new,鈥 with wireless available 鈥渆verywhere.鈥
