Students Say
By far the most celebrated part of the school is the 鈥渆xceptional鈥 faculty. These 鈥渧ery approachable鈥 professors 鈥渆ncourage intellectual curiosity and value hard work.鈥 鈥淧rofessors are committed to providing the highest quality academics with the goal of producing top level lawyers,鈥 one student explains. 鈥淭he faculty is always available for consultation and assistance,鈥 and New England Law 鈥渄oes not have teaching assistants.鈥 鈥淎ll of the professors have extensive legal background,鈥 and many are Harvard graduates. Students really get to know their professors here, as 鈥渢he comparatively small size of the school means that faculty and students are in constant, casual contact.鈥 One 3L says, 鈥淚 would wager that if our faculty was compared to any other law school in the nation, that our school would win, hands down!鈥
The students also love the 鈥渆xcellent library and IT staff鈥 that are 鈥渁lways available for research assistance.鈥 鈥淭he law librarians are indeed wizards & the security staff know everything & everyone,鈥 one student explains. While the students love the faculty and staff, 鈥渢he administration is abysmal鈥 and 鈥渢he worst part of this entire school.鈥 鈥淚n my three years at New England I鈥檝e seen the Dean ONCE,鈥 one student says.
Those who attend New England Law are 鈥減retty much guaranteed to pass the bar statistically.鈥 Students love the 鈥渟upportive atmosphere,鈥 鈥渟trong alumni network, networking opportunities,鈥 and how 鈥渢he small community encourages teamwork, collaboration, and success.鈥 鈥淥kay, sure at BC or Harvard you will learn what Thomas Jefferson was thinking when he wrote the Constitution,鈥 one student says, 鈥渂ut at New England Law you will learn how to conduct a divorce between a plumber and a nurse.鈥
