Additionally, Harvard鈥檚 鈥渞esearch facilities and resources are world-class. Not only do we have the largest law library in the world, but we are able to draw from the rest of the University's research resources.鈥� And beyond the 鈥済reat鈥� research librarians, there鈥檚 鈥渟pecialized staff who can help with empirical research and quantitative analyses, as well as programmers who work with students and professors on innovative projects such as perma.cc, H2O, and the Caselaw Access Project.鈥�

Finally, HLS students happily declare that 鈥渙pportunities post-graduation are unparalleled.鈥� Indeed, 鈥渂ig law, clerkships, and public interest positions are all on offer and the real determining factor is what you want to do.鈥� Moreover, students boast that 鈥渢he alumni network and career services are insatiable when it comes to setting graduates up for success.鈥�

Rest assured that, 鈥渄espite the 鈥楶aper Chase鈥� stereotype, today鈥檚 HLS is quite collegial.鈥� Sure, you鈥檙e bound to stumble upon some 鈥溾�榞unners鈥� who...wait in line to kiss up to professors, or who...rais[e] their hand in class [non-stop] to provide their unsolicited opinions.鈥� Fortunately, the vast majority of students are 鈥渢he right balance of smart, driven, and easy to get along with.鈥� One thankful individual elaborates, 鈥淚n my experience, when I鈥檇 miss class, no one was hesitant to share notes 鈥� in fact, oftentimes people proactively reached out to me to see if I needed [anything].鈥� A classmate attributes this to the fact that 鈥渆veryone at Harvard who wants a high-paying firm job can get one.鈥� This 鈥渄oes wonders for making the law school experience relatively stress-free and the student body incredibly cooperative鈥people] are much more likely to be cheerleaders than rivals.鈥� Additionally, given 鈥渢he wide variety of student groups, most [everyone] find[s] 鈥榯heir people鈥�.鈥� And many champion 鈥渢he section system [which provides] students [with] a built-in social circle from day one.鈥� Finally, most everyone loves going to school in Cambridge since it鈥檚 鈥渂oth a metropolis but not as bustling as a place like New York 鈥� so you can get away from campus, but you鈥檙e not overwhelmed with distractions.鈥�
