Part of the University of Cincinnati business behemoth, the Carl H. Lindner College of Business MBA Program is 鈥渆qually flexible as it is respected,鈥 offering both a part-time (completed in as little as 18 months) and a full-time option (completed in as little as twelve months), with classes held at its Clifton Heights and Blue Ash campuses, as well as online. The 鈥渁ffordable鈥 school will even waive foundational courses if a student has an undergraduate business degree. 鈥淚 needed a program that could adapt to my unpredictable work schedule while still challenging me as well as being known beyond this region,鈥 says a student.
The program focuses 鈥渉eavily on project-team based work and less on outdated traditional classroom instruction/testing.鈥 鈥淸It] has challenged me to think out of the box and I have gained a great deal of respect for the school and its faculty in the past year,鈥 says a student. Professors are 鈥渓oaded with experience鈥 and a 鈥減assion to teach鈥 and 鈥渃an relate that knowledge in class.鈥 All classes are put online as podcasts, which 鈥渋s great if you have to work late or are traveling,鈥 and the school also uses programs like Aplia and Connect to supplement lectures.
The school administration is 鈥渁lways looking to grow and adapt to the changing economy. They鈥檙e focused on building for the future.鈥 鈥淎t the end of the day you can find good people who will help you get what you need,鈥 says one student. The school is 鈥渧ery accommodating鈥 to working professionals鈥 schedules, and 鈥渆ncourages students to be creative and find creative ways to challenge ourselves and change our communities.鈥 鈥淎s an MBA student at UC, I feel like I am an important part of the program. My ideas are heard; I am connected with my fellow students and faculty,鈥 says a student. 鈥淚 was very skeptical at first but now I鈥檝e realized what a brilliant business school it really is, and how relevant the courses are,鈥 says another.
