Academics
Given the 鈥渟trong brand recognition鈥 and 鈥減restige鈥 of Harvard Business School, it鈥檚 easy to understand why many prospective MBAs hope to attend. The academics are 鈥渟tellar,鈥 and students here love the fact that much of the curriculum is based around the 鈥渃ase method.鈥 Many also appreciate that 鈥淗BS does force you to see your gaps in leadership, ability to speak persuasively in front of a group, and potential to succeed in certain industries.鈥 Students do caution that the first year often operates at a 鈥渂reakneck pace.鈥 Fortunately, 鈥渢he 2nd year is much less hectic, allowing students to tailor their schedules as they see fit.鈥 More importantly, Harvard MBAs have access to 鈥渁mazing faculty members鈥 who bring their 鈥渋ncredible real-world experience鈥 into the classroom. They tend to be 鈥減resent and excited to teach鈥 as well as 鈥渧ery prepared.鈥 Students also speak highly of the 鈥渋ncredible鈥 administration. They are 鈥渆xtremely thoughtful and thorough,鈥 and they ensure that the program is 鈥渞un like clockwork.鈥
