Gonzaga University is about 鈥渢eaching students life lessons through a Jesuit education,鈥 which appeals to the MBA students in its Graduate School of Business. A 鈥済reat reputation in the business community,鈥 especially for its 鈥渁ccounting program,鈥 and an 鈥渁wesome flexible curriculum structure鈥 that 鈥渋s designed with working individuals in mind (with evening and online classes) 鈥 also draw area business grads to the program, which can be completed full-time in three semesters (including summer, fall, and spring).
Gonzaga鈥檚 MBA curriculum consists of twenty-two credits in core courses (eleven two-credit classes) and eleven credits in electives, and students are given the option for a 鈥渃ore-trailer,鈥 which gives them 鈥渁 very unique opportunity to focus in on a subject that they enjoyed during the core part of the semester.鈥 Students report that the curriculum is 鈥渂road and covers many aspects of the modern business environment鈥 and is 鈥渁 tough workload that stresses excellence. Classes may run from 7:30 a.m . to 8:00 p .m . at night,鈥 with break hours in between. Professors 鈥渋ntegrate course material throughout the program鈥 and 鈥渞arely present contradicting information鈥 as 鈥渢he material in the program is well-planned,鈥 though 鈥渟ome tenured professors don鈥檛 seem to care about updating their courses anymore.鈥 Students also appreciate that the program allows for a 鈥渇lexibility of coursework.鈥 鈥淪tudents need to have more opportunities to simulate complex projects and the teamwork needed to solve them,鈥 one student notes. Luckily, 鈥淕onzaga鈥檚 School of Business is always looking for students鈥 input to make those improvements.鈥
