Q: What does teaching with Â鶹ɫÇéƬ involve?
Our teachers help students learn how to take their standardized tests. We’ll teach you strategies and content to pass along to teach and help support students throughout the class and help them build their confidence.

Q: Am I qualified to teach for Â鶹ɫÇéƬ?
If you answer yes to everything below, you qualify!
- Currently reside in either the U.S. or Canada
- At least 18 years old
- Have a valid Social Security Number or Social Insurance Number
- Eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada
- Available to commit to at least 5 hours per week on a regular basis
- Able to pass our qualifying exam and training
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to create a dynamic and interesting learning environment for students
Additional criteria for MCAT instructors:
- Candidates currently pursuing or in possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher preferred

Q: What are the system requirements to teach or tutor online?

- Windows 10 and an Intel Core i3 or better
- Mac OS 10.7+ on one of the below machines

Minimal Computer Hardware Requirements
- 4Gb RAM
- 20 MB free disk space
- Internet access—broadband connection required; minimum 15Mbps download speed and 8Mbps upload speed. You can test your internet connectivity speeds at .

Q: When are courses offered?
Mostly nights and weekends, but it will vary depending on the time of year and whether you teach online or in person. We occasionally offer daytime schedules as well. Q: Do I have to teach certain hours?
We’re looking for candidates who are able to consistently work a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least 1 year. We collect availability from our teachers regularly and adjust assignments to match your specific availability
Q: Where does teaching take place?
In-person classes take place at our retail locations and at universities, high schools and other local institutions. Tutors often tutor in students’ homes or at an agreed-upon meeting place. LiveOnline instructors can teach from anywhere that’s quiet and has a stable, high-speed internet connection.
Q: How much are teachers paid?
You’ll be paid a competitive, set hourly rate and a separate rate for any administrative work you may undertake. Bonus opportunities are also available.
