Types of Transportation Available to Campus
Ontario International Airport (ONT) is located approximately 30 minutes East of campus, and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is located approximately 50 minutes West of campus.
Whether you are from Southern California or visiting from another country, public transportation is another option. Take advantage of our local trains: Metrolink is commuter rail that serves Southern California and has two lines (Riverside and San Bernardino) that service Pomona (1-800-371-LINK); local buses: Foothill Transit covers the Pomona/San Gabriel Valley area (1-800-743-3463), with Lines 190, 194, 195, 289, 480, 482, and 486 serving campus daily and directly and connects to nearby transit hubs in Pomona, Montclair, West Covina, Puente Hills, and El Monte where riders can connect to other agencies such as Metrolink, LA Metro (serving Los Angeles County), OCTA (serving Orange County), OMNITRANS (serving San Bernardino County), and RTS (serving Riverside County). Starting Fall 2021, CPP, in partnership with Foothill Transit, also offers free bus passes that allow enrolled students unlimited rides on all Foothill Transit buses for the year. Starting Spring 2023, the Foothill Transit Silver Streak, a line providing express bus service to Downtown Los Angeles westbound and the Montclair Transit Center eastbound, will offer a stop in the heart of campus, with service running from Mondays thru Fridays (excluding federal holidays) between 7 am and 9 pm.

Driving Instructions to Campus
Driving Directions to Cal Poly Pomona
From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Take the 105 freeway East, transition to the 605 North, transition to the San Bernardino (60) freeway, transition to the Orange (57) freeway North. Exit at Temple Avenue and turn left (down the hill). Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
From Ontario International Airport (ONT): Take the San Bernardino (10) freeway West and exit at Kellogg Drive. Stay in your left lane, you should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors. Follow Kellogg Drive. After the second stop sign, turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
From Orange County: Take the 57 freeway North and exit at Temple Avenue and turn left (down the hill). Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
From the 10 Freeway (East or West): Exit at Kellogg Drive. Stay in your left lane, you should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors. Follow Kellogg Drive. After the second stop sign, turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
From the 60 Freeway traveling East: Follow the junction into the 57 freeway North. Exit at Temple Avenue and turn left (down the hill). Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
Local Accommodations
Kellogg West Conference Center & Lodge is a full service hotel and conference facility located on a natural and tranquil tree lined hilltop on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. Featuring well appointed guest rooms, Kellogg West offers a special visitor rate of $79 plus tax single-occupancy or $89 plus tax double occupancy for guests who are touring Cal Poly Pomona with the Visitor Center.
