Established in 1976, the Yale School of Management is a 鈥渟uperbly run鈥 institution that is 鈥渁 model for the business school platform.鈥 Yale SOM provides resources and opportunities to non-traditional MBA candidates through avenues such as the Silver Scholars program, which admits and matriculates students directly from undergrad, and its numerous centers and initiatives (such as the Center for Customer Insights, the Program on Entrepreneurship, and the Initiative for Leadership and Organization) highlight the innovative thinking this 鈥渆xceptionally well-positioned鈥 program is known for. Professors are extraordinarily accessible, and students 鈥渃an tell that they are here at SOM because they have a passion for teaching.鈥 The curriculum is 鈥渦pdated on a regular basis,鈥 and there are opportunities to take classes across the university. Yale SOM鈥檚 Global Studies Requirement reinforces the school鈥檚 worldly approach to business, and is often fulfilled by an International Experience course that caps off in a ten-day trip to foreign business capitals.
