The academic support of USC鈥檚 MBA program is 鈥渙utstanding.鈥 Although most students attend the program exclusively online, it still creates an impression that 鈥渇eels very intimate and catered to the student.鈥 The curriculum is 鈥渟treamlined, organized, and helpful.鈥 Students attending the online program 鈥渉ave never met a more talented group of professors.鈥 They are 鈥渋ncredibly engaged鈥 and make themselves readily available 鈥渢o meet or have a phone call at any time to discuss coursework.鈥 The instructors respond promptly to 鈥渞equests, questions, or concerns,鈥 鈥減rovide candid feedback,鈥 and 鈥渁re flexible with deadlines and scheduling conflicts.鈥 One student says, 鈥淚 am amazed at the availability of the professors for office hours. For a couple of my classes, they met with me 1:1 to help me out with a couple of questions that I had in preparation for the final.鈥 These 鈥渆xceptional educators鈥 also implement interdisciplinary lessons 鈥渢o ensure full understanding of the semester鈥檚 coursework.鈥 One student boasts, 鈥淭his program has shifted my perception on almost every topic we have discussed in a profoundly positive way.鈥 Students also have access to members of a 鈥渧ery hands-on鈥 administration that 鈥渁ddress issues and concerns timely and organize networking events.鈥 The administration also makes it a point to follow up with students often to make sure they 鈥渁re on track and collect suggestions for each semester.鈥 鈥淩esources are readily available in a variety of outlets鈥 to best meet the needs of each learner. The school does its best to provide flexibility for those students with more than just graduate coursework on their plates. The program is 鈥渄emanding but workable鈥 and is 鈥渨ell worth the investment.鈥 Fellow classmates are 鈥渧ery inclusive of one another鈥 and are 鈥渁lways willing to help one another succeed.鈥 Class discussions are 鈥渆xtremely meaningful.鈥 Students learn as much from their peers as they do from the lectures themselves.

The OMBA program offers dedicated career coaches who provide overall career planning, job search strategies, personal branding, resume and cover letter preparation, and interview preparation. Students receive individualized coaching and guidance on skill building, strategic career planning and employment negotiations to help target a job search strategy for specific positions in companies. Students also have access to MBA-specific job postings and industry networking opportunities through alumni groups and student organizations.
