The distinguishing features of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill鈥檚 Kenan-Flagler Business School online MBA@UNC program include flexibility, a strong core curriculum, and talented professors and students. The material covered in the program is 鈥渉eavily invested in analytical skills鈥 and is 鈥渁lso very big on leadership and management.鈥 Students have the option to earn their MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship, 鈥渨hich is not offered at most schools.鈥 The format of the program is comprised of both synchronous and asynchronous material, which 鈥渉olds students accountable,鈥 as it 鈥渞einforces learning鈥 and 鈥渕akes students to engage with each other.鈥 鈥淲hat the student learns from the material is on the student.鈥 MBA@UNC students enjoy having 鈥渢he ability to have synchronous sessions with classmates and professors,鈥 as well as the 鈥渙pportunity to meet classmates every quarter (or more often) in person.鈥 鈥淭he rigor of the program is not lost through the use of an online platform鈥: The 鈥渓ive virtual classroom鈥 gives students the feel of a traditional classroom with the convenience of being able to work from home or on the road. 鈥淣ot needing to take a break in my career is a massive strength,鈥 says one student. The program offers 鈥渢he best combination of quality and convenience鈥 for those with 鈥渃areer or family demands.鈥 The faculty at UNC is 鈥渆xceptional.鈥 鈥淭hey are incredibly knowledgeable in their fields and are very approachable,鈥 says a student. The faculty and administration truly want students to succeed and follow the 鈥渋t takes a village notion鈥 in order to make that happen. One student states, 鈥淚 would say six out of eight professors have been excellent, and the non-excellent ones were still good. I have also felt consistently informed and aware of changes and happenings in the program from the administration.鈥 Not only are MBA@UNC students surrounded by outstanding faculty, they are also 鈥渟urrounded by classmates from the most prestigious tiers of their respective specialties.鈥 鈥淭here is a strong showing by current and post-military personnel,鈥 as well as an assortment of other professionals with varying experiences and knowledge. One student states, 鈥淓ach person brings a unique perspective to the table, which has helped me think differently about business and working with/leading groups of people.鈥
