One student says, 鈥淢any of my professors teach concepts using excel so it is directly applicable to our work environments. The Jenkins Career Management Center (CMC) understands career management needs for working professionals are unique and varied. Our flexible format, customized approach and commitment to all Jenkins MBA students are directly tied to their career success. Examples of services:
Unlimited Career Coaching. The Jenkins CMC offers our online MBAs unlimited 1 on 1 career coaching appointments. Coaching appointments are scheduled scheduled 6 days per week, including evenings and weekends. We have three professional coaches that serve online MBAs. One specializing in internal advancement, one in external advancement, and a generalist coach that structures and delivers our suite of offerings.
Career and Professional Development programming. The Jenkins CMC offers five to eight workshops per semester. Delivered by alumni, local executives, and our coaching team, these sessions cover topics like personal branding, interview preparation, salary negotiation, preparing for promotion, long-term career planning, and exploration of common function and industry pathing for executive track MBAs.
Networking Mixers. Twice per year the CMC will host networking events with local companies, employer partners, alumni, and other MBAs and master?s students in our graduate programs.
Virtual Asynchronous Resources. Jenkins has a curated career development suite provided by BeyondBSchool, career development assessments like CareerLeader, an on-demand professional resume review service.
Job Boards. Online MBAs have full access to our internal job board housed by 12Twenty, including to on-campus recruiting events, postings for current students or alumni, and job search tools.
