Indiana University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 10,000 students from across the nation and around the globe. Located in the heart of Indiana, Pa. (70 miles Northeast of Pittsburgh, PA), IUP's main campus has grown from twelve acres and one building in 1875, to 374 acres, 59 major buildings and 11 athletic fields. International students at IUP represent 44 states and 61 countries. In recent years, IUP has replaced more than a dozen residential and academic buildings to enhance the campus's living-learning environment. The small town atmosphere of Indiana PA brings the double advantage of low cost of living as well as safe and friendly living environments to the students. Proximity to the city of Pittsburgh brings the connections with major businesses and corporations of the area to enhance internship and career building opportunities.
Facilities
A state-of-the-art, $12-million facility houses the MBA classrooms. The Eberly complex is a beautiful, four-story facility that offer a spacious atrium for student interaction and studying, complete wireless access, a cafe, a 450-seat auditorium, and a public computing lab operation. Students of the Eberly College study in one of the most technologically advanced business schools in the country. The Eberly complex houses more than 600 computer workstations, more than 20 file servers, nine computing labs (including a financial trading room and advanced financial trading room), digital production studio; wireless technology throughout the campus, and online access to comprehensive business periodicals and journals databases. The college also houses a Small Business Institute, Small Business Development Center, where MBA students can gain business consulting and entrepreneurship experience.
The Financial Trading Room in Eberly offers students databases and related software to conduct financial analysis and learn valuation techniques, arbitrage techniques, and portfolio risk-management strategies. Eberly also offers the Bloomberg Professional service software system, an industry-grade comprehensive data-monitoring and analytical tool used to train students to study real-time movements in global markets. The marketing department of the college houses the Consumer Neuroscience lab for research in the field of buyer behavior in which MBA students can participate as research assistants.

Requirements for admission include a completed undergraduate degree in any field with a strong academic track record from an accredited college/university, GMAT scores, academic/professional letters of recommendation, and the applicant's career goal statement and resume. The GMAT score of admitted candidates range from 440-700 with an average GMAT of 520; the average undergraduate grade point average is 3.0/4.0. GRE scores are accepted as a substitute for GMAT. Eberly College offers a full-time, on-campus MBA program for young professionals and recent college graduates that can be completed in 12 months. In addition, an executive MBA program for experienced working professionals is available at IUP's off-campus sites in the Monroeville and Northpointe, PA. Starting Spring 2022, Eberly College introduced the MBA in Supply Chain Management (STEM) to prepare their students to manage complex global supply chain through the combination of STEM and managerial expertise. In a long term collaboration with our international partner universities, we offer the IUP MBA program in Bangalore, India and executive MBA program in Palestine. The college also offers bachelor's degrees in accounting, entrepreneurship and small business management, finance, general management, human resource management, supply chain management, international business, economics, hotel, restaurant, tourism, and event management, and marketing as well as a PhD in Business degree.
Academic Programs
The IUP MBA is a 36-credit, integrated, general management program with an option to complete concentrations/specializations (nine/twelve additional credits) in Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Professional Accountancy or Supply Chain Management. The MBA courses focus on business applications and current analytical tools and techniques, and strongly emphasize information technology utilization in managerial problem solving. A variety of elective courses are available in each of the concentration areas. Opportunities are available for internships with local, national, and international organizations.

Eberly MBA courses are taught by faculty members who have doctoral degrees in their fields of specialization and extensive research and publication track records. Their international backgrounds and/or exposure, experience in industry, and current research projects bring an ideal blend of theory and practice to the MBA courses. Eberly faculty members serve as editors on nine national/international journals.

More than half the students are from 21 countries other than the U.S., 21 percent have previous business work experience, and 7 percent are currently working full-time in professional careers. Eberly College takes great pride in the activities and initiatives of its College of Business Student Advisory Council and the members of its 13 student organizations. Eberly College of Business Graduate Business Students Association provides MBA students professional development opportunities including participation in regional and national case competitions, company visits, career-fair visits and group visits to professional and business organizations in New York, Chicago and Washington DC.
