鈥淥ne of the top business schools in Atlanta,鈥 Georgia State University offers a cosmopolitan MBA to a diverse student body. Catering to a range of urban professionals, the school offers several distinct MBA tracks. For those with busy careers, the Flexible MBA is an evening and weekend program, which allows up to five years for completion. Another popular choice, the PMBA, is also designed for working professionals; however, this program is a two-year cohort-based degree, which moves quickly and maximizes networking opportunities with classmates. In addition to these two programs, the school offers an Executive MBA for seasoned managers, as well as a full-time program with major overseas components, called the Global Partners MBA. With evening classes at 鈥渕ultiple locations鈥 in Atlanta, the majority of Georgia State鈥檚 MBA programs give students 鈥渢he flexibility to remain employed full time throughout the curriculum.鈥

Georgia State鈥檚 MBA provides a 鈥渟trong background in general business areas, while allowing you to focus on your area of interest鈥 through electives and study abroad. 鈥淧rofessors are a mix of experienced professionals and long-tenured educators,鈥 who are 鈥渆xtremely knowledgeable鈥 and able to 鈥渕ake complicated concepts understandable and relevant.鈥 Teaching working professionals, professors excel at 鈥渟taying up to date with current business trends, from global to local.鈥 Just as importantly, 鈥渢he business school learning environment depends heavily on your classmates鈥 experiences.鈥 Since 鈥渕any of the students have ten-plus years of relevant work experience,鈥 students are pleased to find that their 鈥渃lassmates bring good industry knowledge to discussions.鈥

Keeping up with classes and professional life is definitely a challenge for many MBA students, as 鈥渢he program moves at a very fast pace.鈥 At the same time, the 鈥淧MBA isn鈥檛 as intense or competitive as some full-time programs because everyone is working full time.鈥 Helping to streamline the experience, 鈥渢he administration is very involved鈥 with students, and it 鈥渉as perfected making the process easy鈥 on busy working professionals. Staff handles most of the paperwork, so 鈥渟tudents don鈥檛 have to do any of the 鈥榓dministrative鈥 tasks, like registering or ordering books.鈥 鈥淧MBA facilities are top notch,鈥 located on a number of convenient satellite campuses in Atlanta.
