Located just outside of Boston, the MBA program at Babson College鈥檚 F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business offers its students their trademarked Entrepreneurial Thought and Action庐 methodology, making it a top dog in entrepreneurship at business schools around the country. With four different models, students can choose to get their MBA in an accelerated one-year program, a traditional two-year program, through evening classes, or through a 鈥渂lended learning鈥 program customized for working students who want a mix of online and on-campus courses. Students appreciate Babson鈥檚 reputation for 鈥渋nnovation鈥 and 鈥渟ocial impact,鈥 (encapsulated by their Lewis Institute for Social Innovation), attention to 鈥渄igital transformation,鈥 and their philosophy of embracing 鈥渁mbiguity and uncertainty鈥 in a dynamic, often unpredictable economy and marketplace. Babson 鈥減articularly focuses well on the product development life cycle,鈥 one student said, 鈥渨hich is important to understand many aspects of management from marketing and operations to manufacturing and product development.鈥 Faculty is 鈥渇abulous鈥 and 鈥渄iverse鈥 and many 鈥渉ost extracurricular roundtable discussions鈥n marketing, science, and technology.鈥 鈥淪maller class size[s],鈥 鈥減ractical learning,鈥 and a 鈥渃ooperative and cohesive environment鈥 ensure that students are given focused opportunities for growth and collaboration and will be able to apply their lessons 鈥渋n many settings.鈥 One area of improvement some students report is that 鈥渢he systems, processes, and organizational structure do not always facilitate鈥 the good intentions faculty and staff have when it comes to student support, and so there鈥檚 鈥渟ignificant room for improvement in [the] administrative approach.鈥
