Academics

With the full weight of Arizona State University behind it, the W.P. Carey School of Business provides its students with small classes, a top name degree, and a 鈥渨ealth of information and resources.鈥 Even with its stellar reputation, 鈥減rofessors and admin are hungry to improve鈥 and the school 鈥渃onstantly evaluates the MBA programs to optimize/improve according to feedback, needs of the business community, and trends in business teaching.鈥 Academics are 鈥渄emanding but rewarding, and extremely thorough,鈥 with multiple concentrations available for students to customize their education in areas such as Healthcare Management, International Business, and the lauded Supply Chain Management program. Students can expect 鈥済roup projects galore鈥 with the first year bringing 鈥渁n enormous amount of information鈥 and very little time to do much else; by the second year, 鈥渢he coursework has decreased significantly.鈥

The 鈥渙utstanding鈥 professors are 鈥渂rilliant technically and readily make themselves available outside of class鈥 and are always encouraging the students to attend office hours if the students feel if they are falling behind. 鈥淥ur professors have held us to the highest level of professionalism and demand,鈥 says a student. The administration is similarly accessible, and 鈥渞egularly hold town hall meetings to get a feel of the vibe of the student body and get feedback.鈥 鈥淚t has been a pleasure to work with school administration and faculty on adjusting class setups and extracurricular activities. They only want what the students want and proactively try to accommodate for those preferences,鈥 says a student.
