If you鈥檙e a California resident looking for a great MBA program in the San Fernando Valley, it would behoove you to consider California State University, Northridge. For starters, the university鈥檚 鈥渟trong local reputation鈥 can鈥檛 be beat. It also comes with a 鈥渞easonable鈥 price tag which connotes a 鈥済reat value鈥 and ensures that graduate school is actually 鈥渇inancially feasible.鈥

The program itself is 鈥渄esigned for fully-employed professionals鈥 and classes are 鈥渙ffered [in the] evenings and/or [on] weekends.鈥 And the curriculum is geared towards enhancing 鈥渓eadership鈥 skills, aiming to leverage 鈥渞eal work scenarios鈥 for teaching purposes. Cal State Northridge also places a premium on 鈥渆xperiential learning,鈥 the cornerstone of which is the 鈥淢BA Consulting Project.鈥 This project grants students the opportunity to apply the theories they鈥檝e learned in a practical setting.

Many Cal State Northridge MBAs would describe their 鈥渧ery qualified鈥 professors as a highlight of the program. Generally, these instructors marry 鈥渁cademic[s] with real life application.鈥 More specifically, professors frequently 鈥渟hare their consulting experience and [information about] projects they are working on.鈥 And many Cal State Northridge professors are exceedingly supportive. As one grateful student shares, 鈥淢y first year I needed academic support and my professors helped me find resources that aided in my success. I had to work very hard, but my professors were sensitive to making sure I got the help I needed.鈥 Lastly, students tend to find the administration 鈥渉elpful鈥 as well. And they appreciate that administrators strive to make themselves readily 鈥渁vailable for advice and planning.鈥
