of 2021 and Look Ahead to 2022
NEW YORK, January 6, 2022 / - ®, one of the nation's leading providers of education services, today shared highlights of some of the company's activities in 2021 and projects for 2022.
Over the past year, Â鶹ɫÇéƬ helped millions of students prepare for and score their best on tests, master school assignments and improve their grades, research and gain admission to colleges and graduate schools, and obtain scholarships and financial aid. The company also helped people navigate employment transitions with resources to upskill and advance their careers and pass professional licensing exams.
Though the COVID pandemic continued to limit opportunities for Â鶹ɫÇéƬ's in-person courses and tutoring, the company delivered the majority of its education services in 2021 online. These included its: test-prep courses, admissions counseling, Homework Help and The Academy tutoring services, and free educational resources on its website and YouTube channel. The company also published 70+ books-some of which were available in both print and e-book editions.

• Celebrated three key milestones.
July marked the 35th anniversary of the publication of the company's first annual guide to the SAT. Cracking the System: The SAT ® became a New York Times bestseller and remains the only test-prep guide ever to achieve that distinction. The current edition of the guide, published in May 2021.
August marked the publication of the 30th edition of Â鶹ɫÇéƬ's annual Best Colleges guidebook. Widely known for its student survey-based school rankings in dozens of categories, the current edition, The Best 387 Colleges, features 26 categories of "Great Lists." Each list names the colleges that earned the most distinctive placements in the ranking list category over the guide's three decades of published lists.
November marked the 40th Anniversary of the founding of Â鶹ɫÇéƬ in 1981. As part of the celebration, the company hosted an anniversary sweepstakes with $40,000 in cash prizes. Four randomly chosen sweepstakes entrants will each win $10,000 when the prizes are awarded in mid-January. Â鶹ɫÇéƬ at 40, a dedicated area on the company website, features articles, stats, and images chronicling the company's history.
• Provided hundreds of free resources accessed by hundreds of thousands of people.
Â鶹ɫÇéƬ free resources in 2021 included: weekly , frequent articles on PrincetonReview.com, dozens of Zoom-hosted talks for audiences of students, parents, and counselors, and dozens of videos on the company's . The video series provided updates on the key tests for college-bound students (SAT ® /ACT ® /AP ® ) and graduate program applicants (GRE ® /GMAT ®/ LSAT ® /MCAT ®) with information on changes in formats, scheduling, and cancellations as well as strategies for scoring well on the tests. The most viewed video in the company's YouTube series in 2021 was "What You Need to Know About Cheating and Security on the AP Exams" (April).
• Published more than 70 books distributed by Penguin Random House.
Among new titles in 2021:
5th Grade at Home and 6th Grade at Home. These books extended the company's Learn at Home series for parents to help their children keep up with grade-level math and reading skills (May). The series debuted in 2020 with 1 st through 4th grade Learn at Home books.
The College Wellness Guide: A Student's Guide to Managing Mental, Physical, and Social Health on Campus by Casey Rowley Barneson and the Staff of Â鶹ɫÇéƬ (August).

College Admission 101: Expert Advice for the New Challenges in Admissions, Testing, Financial Aid, and More, 3rd Edition (May 3) by Robert Franek and the Staff of Â鶹ɫÇéƬ.
The Ultimate Guide to HBCUs: Profiles, Stats, and Insights for All 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (July 5) by Â鶹ɫÇéƬ and Dr. Braque Talley.
• Reported its annual school rankings in dozens of categories. Among them were its:

• Conducted and reported findings of two national surveys.
College Hopes & Worries Survey This survey which Â鶹ɫÇéƬ has conducted annually since 2003, polled 14,000 college applicants and their parents from January through February on their admission perspectives, "dream" colleges, financial aid needs, and other topics. On the findings report list of top 10 "dream colleges" of surveyed applicants, Harvard was #1 while Stanford was #1 on the surveyed parents' list.
Summer 2021 College Administrator Survey The survey polled nearly 400 college administrators in August on their reopening plans, vaccination mandate policies, campus modifications due to COVID-19, fall enrollments, and other issues. Sixty-four percent of administrators reported their schools were mandating COVID vaccinations for students returning to their campuses.
• Debuted a new resource for people taking professional licensing tests. The company launched a NCLEX-RN Exam course in November for nursing school grads.
• Was referenced by several thousand print, online, and broadcast media as well as in countless social media channels.
Rob Franek, Editor-in-Chief of Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, appeared on discussing the company's annual Best Colleges rankings and college administrator survey in September. Other media airing interviews with him in 2021 included: , Northeast Public Radio's "The Best of Our Knowledge," CBS MarketWatch, Teen Kid News, and Westwood One Radio's 500 stations.
Hundreds of colleges, law schools, business schools and graduate school programs publicized their appearances on Princeton Review ranking lists in stories that ran in national, regional, and local earned media as well as in social media.
