The Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University is a 鈥渦nique鈥 and 鈥渨ell-structured鈥 program with a strong 鈥淛esuit tradition鈥 on a 鈥渂eautiful campus in an economically thriving city.鈥 In short, it is a 鈥渄iamond in the rough.鈥 Located 鈥渋n the heart of Seattle Metro Area,鈥 Albers 鈥渉as a diverse cultural set of faculty, students, and staff.鈥 The Seattle location is especially attractive for MBA students as many major American companies like Amazon, T-Mobile, Microsoft, and Starbucks are based here. The Albers MBA program builds a 鈥渟trong sense of community,鈥 and its unique 鈥渇ocus on social justice鈥 and 鈥渟trong core values鈥 are baked into 鈥渆very aspect of the school.鈥

Students praise the 鈥渃onvenience and flexibility鈥 of the program and call it a 鈥済reat program for working professionals.鈥 For example, 鈥渃lasses [are] offered at night in two locations鈥 and students are allowed 鈥渦p to five years to finish coursework (which helps for students that work full time & have families).鈥 The school also has a new 鈥淏ridge MBA鈥 program that 鈥渉as classes during the day.鈥 The Bridge MBA is a twelve-month program aimed at helping non-business undergraduates get a jumpstart on their business careers.

The professors at SU 鈥渁re amazing鈥 and 鈥渨illing to spend time with you so that you understand the materials.鈥 鈥淚 have been happy with every professor I have had, and many of them have been outstanding,鈥 one student attests. Most of the teachers here 鈥渉ave worked in business so can relate real world experiences to classroom work.鈥 Students say that the administration is 鈥渧ery open and willing to help,鈥 and provide 鈥渁bundant鈥 鈥渙pportunities to tweak the program鈥 to student needs. Students also praise the school鈥檚 efforts 鈥渉elping students network.鈥 鈥淭hey often host events outside of school and off campus to help students get together and network and socialize,鈥 one student explains.
