鈥淭here is an excellent diversity of professors at PSU,鈥 one happy student says. 鈥淓ven though I am a 鈥榥on-traditional鈥 student, I feel that I have really grown academically and personally due to the guidance of the PSU professors.鈥 The professors are 鈥渆xcellent academics鈥 鈥渨ith real world experiences鈥 who are 鈥渧ery dedicated to their students. These 鈥渃onsummate professionals鈥 are 鈥渆ngaging鈥 and illuminate students with their extensive 鈥減rofessional experience.鈥 That said, some students feel that some professors 鈥渁re stuck in the dark ages鈥 and 鈥渘eed to update their materials and 鈥榬eal world鈥 examples.鈥 鈥淐lasses are small鈥 at PSU, and professors know their students by name. Students think that the 鈥渁dministration is great鈥 and the staff as a whole is 鈥渇riendly, helpful, and respectful to their students.鈥 The building itself 鈥渋s old and could use some facelift,鈥 and the school as a whole is 鈥済etting too small for the growing student body,鈥 although an estimated $19 million renovation is in the works. 鈥淧SU offers a very diverse array of academic studies,鈥 one student says, 鈥渕ost notably: accounting, business administration, education, plastics engineering, construction management, and automotive engineering.鈥 鈥淚 love the professors of the management and marketing office of Pittsburg State,鈥 one student says. 鈥淚 feel that they have honed my ability to think critically, speak in public, and work in a team.鈥
