Career Experience
I have been in education for over 10 years as a tutor, teacher, instructor and curriculum specialist. I have experience teaching grades 3-12 with additional experience teaching adults in preparation for their GED. While I specialize in ELA and history, I am also able to support students in GED level math and science content.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love learning! I believe learning is foundational in our development as individuals and as a greater society. I enjoy tutoring because I also love when I can help someone develop and understanding of something or make a connection. When someone has that "lightbulb moment" it opens so many doors to more learning and development of self-confidence that is necessary at all ages. Being a part of someone's journey is why I love education!
