While in graduate school, my thesis work was on superconducting and novel magnetic properties of antiferromagnetic Mott insulators. Additionally, I have several years' experience as a teaching assistant, where I taught introductory physics discussion and lab sections.

I Love Tutoring Because

I see it as an extension of my prior experience as a TA. Also, I enjoy helping people learn new ideas about science and math.

This is the third time I have attempted to do the online tutoring, and it is extremely helpful especially due to my schedule but every time I access a good tutor the connection is poor, and it disconnect in the middle of my session! Very frustrating!

I lost connection from a previous session because of my internet dropping where I was almost done with the problem I started with in this second session, and it took us nearly an hour to go through it again even though I was nearly done with it the first time. I also lost all previous notes because my connection was dropped, and you seem to have a hard cut off at an hour. Just wasn't optimal in my opinion. There also seemed to be some miscommunication between me and this second tutor is all. It was okay but not great all things considered.

Very nice tutor. He helped me with 2 math that questions I was stuck on and could not figure out how to do. He shoed me some rules in finding the square root of equations and whether or not it is extraneous. Thank you for helping me with my questions.
